Coupons.com's Jeanette Pavini Named Finalist in GOBankingRates' "Best Personal Finance Expert" Competition

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeanette Pavini, an award-winning consumer reporter and savings expert for Coupons.com, has been named one of 12 finalists in GOBankingRates' fourth annual "Best Personal Finance Expert" competition.

Pavini is a veteran journalist who has spent time both in front of and behind the camera, including eight years as the chief consumer reporter for CBS 5 in San Francisco. Her Emmy-nominated show, "The Real Deal" ran for seven years and earned eight Press Club Awards for Best Program. Pavini is also the face of Coupons.com, where she writes for the site's The Good Stuff blog and anchors the "Better Ways to Save" segment on "The Better Show."

Finalists were asked to share their best tip for gaining financial success in 2015. Pavini stressed that Americans need to educate themselves in order to take control of their finances.

"Consumers feel as if they are never going to dig out of the hole, so they become discouraged and simply give up.
