WASHINGTON, Feb. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Press Club has hosted world leaders including Presidents, kings and queens but this Saturday everyone is excited to host some of the rising young stars of country music as Love & Theft, The Cadillac Three and Trailer Choir will perform their country hits in the heart of downtown DC.
Like all country concerts, there will be songs about pick-up trucks and broken hearts but this will probably be the first country concert on the 13th floor of an historic building in Washington. It should be an unforgettable experience for those who attend.
And the bands are really something special. Love & Theft's new album "Whiskey On My Breath" debuted at #8 on the iTunes Country Chart earlier this month. The album includes some great songs including one the band wrote for country icon Martina McBride. And, of course Love & Theft had a #1 hit with Angel Eyes. The Cadillac Three is coming off a sold out UK tour and has recently been opening for Eric Church and Jake Owen. Two of their songs were Grammy-Nominated. Trailer Choir has charted several songs in the top 50 and has a passionate fan base. And if you have not heard Tom Dixon you are in for a real treat.
This should be a great night of Country in the City. We would love you and your friends to be part of it. Tickets are still available on the web at www.press.org/districtcountry.
Our sponsors include the great folks at Budweiser, Toyota and Dunbar Armored and we are grateful for their support.
