Cotton Patch Cafe Launches 11th Annual Challenge Benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital For Children
Southern homestyle restaurant will match every $25 donation in March with a dining gift card
DALLAS, March 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cotton Patch Cafe kicks off its 11th annual Cotton Patch Challenge benefiting Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children on March 6 and will match every $25 donation to the hospital, up to $100,000, with a $25 dining gift card through March 31.
The Challenge has helped to raise more than $1 million over the past 10 years. The program is simple – each person who donates to Scottish Rite Hospital in March through https://community.tsrhc.org/ or www.cottonpatch.com will receive up to $1,000 in dining cards to match their donation. The cards can be used at any of Cotton Patch Cafe's nearly 50 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico.
All funds raised go directly to benefit children being treated at Scottish Rite Hospital, a world leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions and related neurological disorders. The hospital strives to improve the care of children worldwide through innovative research and teaching programs that train physicians from around the world.
"For more than a decade, Cotton Patch has been a steadfast supporter of the hospital and our mission to provide world-class care to children regardless of a family's ability to pay," said Stephanie Brigger, Vice President of Development at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. "The Challenge engages Cotton Patch Cafe guests in a meaningful manner to raise not only needed funds for care, but also critical awareness of the important work being carried out by our doctors, nurses, researchers and staff each day."
"Supporting the communities in which we reside is a priority for all of us at Cotton Patch Cafe, and our annual Challenge for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children is our top philanthropic mission," said Cotton Patch Cafe President Kathy Nelson. "We encourage our guests to join us in donating throughout March to help make a difference in the lives of these children and their families."
The hospital cafeteria will serve up a taste of Cotton Patch Cafe by selling the restaurant's famous Dr Pepper Cake to kick off the Cotton Patch Challenge.
