Cosmetic Bootcamp announces Fredric Brandt MD Memorial Scholarship for Residents Education.
ASPEN, Colo., July 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- At the recent Cosmetic Bootcamp Summer Meeting held in Aspen, program CBC Co-founder Vic Narurkar MD and Joely Kaufman MD, an associate in Dr. Brandt's Florida practice announced the creation of a Fredric Brandt MD Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving resident or fellow and will provide complimentary registration, accommodations and travel to the Summer Cosmetic Bootcamp Meeting. Qualified applicants will be asked to submit an essay on the topic "Artistry and Aesthetic Medicine: Managing Expectations." In keeping with Dr. Brandt's unwavering dedication to the science and artistry of beauty, the winning essay will demonstrate a deep understanding and novel approach to the way societal pressures impact patients' desires, and explore how the aesthetic physician needs to incorporate those factors into patient care.
Dr. Brandt was scheduled to be a part of the faculty of this past summer meeting, and his presence, inimitable style and valuable teaching skills were missed by all.
Cosmetic Bootcamp Summer Meeting will next take place in Aspen July 7-10, 2016.
