Strong market demand for Cosentry in St. Louis driving further investment in region
ST. LOUIS, May 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Cosentry, the Midwest leader in data center services, continues its investment in the St. Louis market by appointing Chris Scaglione to Regional Vice President. Based out of Cosentry's state-of-the-art data center at 1111 Olive St. in downtown St. Louis, Scaglione will lead business development efforts for the technology company.
"We're pleased to add Chris' deep experience and expertise in IT and data center services to the Cosentry team and affirm our commitment to providing outstanding client service and support," said Brad Hokamp, Cosentry CEO. "Chris understands the specific technology needs of the business and industry clusters in St. Louis. His leadership will be key to our ongoing success as we continue to invest in the St. Louis market."
"Joining Cosentry is a tremendous opportunity for me to work with such an innovative and dedicated team," said Scaglione. "I've admired the enterprise technology work done here at Cosentry for some time and it's an honor to now be leading and growing the St. Louis team."
Tapping a 23-year career in IT strategy and management, Scaglione has led clients through the rapid evolution of business technology and IT services with a focus on helping companies apply the right technologies that drive value, cost savings and market opportunity.
Scaglione is set to work hand-in-hand with Ken Lindsay, Cosentry's Vice President of Operations and Engineering, who recently relocated to St. Louis to lead the company's managed services division. The two leaders plan to expand Cosentry's cloud computing, data center, managed services and hosting services offerings in the St. Louis region.
Prior to joining Cosentry, Scaglione worked at Sense Corp, providing clients with consulting services in the area of advanced analytics and business transformation, and Bick Group, where he contributed to building data center and cloud platforms for clients.
Scaglione also brings 12 years of experience with World Wide Technology, where he created and managed the consulting services business, led the Supply Chain Services division, and served as Vice President of Information Technology.
A St. Louis native, Scaglion is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and an MBA. Scaglione also serves on the university's W Club Executive Committee, supporting student athletes and the Washington University Bears athletics programs.
