Cory Parsons, M.S., is recognized by Continental Who's Who among Pinnacle Professionals
HAVRE, Mont., July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Cory Parsons, M.S., is recognized by Continental Who's Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Education as a result of his role as Livestock Extension Educator Montana State University.
As Montana's largest university with almost two hundred degree programs both graduate and undergraduate throughout countless departments of interest, Montana State University prides itself on their rich research opportunities and low student to faculty ratio for hands on learning opportunities with accessible, knowledgeable professors.
A seasoned educator with fifteen years of experience, Cory was employed at Oregon State University for fourteen years until his recent move to Montana State where he is an integral asset to the College of Agriculture faculty. An expert in agriculture and ranching, Cory is responsible for the day to day oversight of livestock operations including range and pasture management, reproduction, nutrition, herd health, irrigation and farming.
Presently, he is a member of the American Society of Animal Sciences, National Association of County Agricultural Agents and the American Registry of Professional Animal Sciences. Additionally, Cory serves as a cub scout and coaches local youth athletics. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding, skiing and spending time with family.
Throughout the course of his education and training, Cory graduated from the University of Idaho with his Master's degree in in Animal Behavior and undergraduate degree in Animal Science and Natural Resource Retention.
