Cortiva Institute School of Massage Therapy Tucson Announces New Education Director Appointment
TUCSON, Ariz., April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Nancy Christine Pichereau has been appointed Education Director for Cortiva Institute School of Massage Therapy Tucson.
Pichereau, who goes by the first name Chris, began her career in 2005 when she obtained her certification in reflexology and massage therapy. She has trained in such modalities and special massage techniques as myofascial, neuromuscular, prenatal, sports massage, injury rehab and hydrotherapy.
"Chris' varied experience in bodywork, management, teaching and creative solutions, makes her uniquely qualified to join our already successful Tucson team," said campus president Deanna Sylvester.
Pichereau relocated to Tucson in 2009 and, following a visit to Cortiva with her daughter who was considering enrolling, Pichereau decided to enhance her own credentials by attending the school and completing a 1,000-hour program in 2010.
In addition to her massage therapy background, Pichereau is an experienced information technology executive with a strong background in enterprise problem identification followed by practical development and implementation of solutions. She has significant professional experience in full life cycle systems development, business and project rescue methodologies, and has worked in local and state government, as well as the financial and insurance industries.
