Corporate services advisors Doug Fulton, Rob Youngquist and Stephanie Severson join Avison Young in Minneapolis
Team will assist in expanding enterprise solutions business nationally
MINNEAPOLIS, MN, Sept. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Mark Evenson, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Minneapolis office, announced today the strategic hiring of highly regarded corporate services advisors Doug Fulton, Rob Youngquist and Stephanie Severson in the Twin Cities.
Effective immediately, Fulton becomes a Principal of Avison Young while Youngquist and Severson will serve as a Senior Vice-President and Vice-President, respectively, in the Minneapolis office. They will continue to work as a team to assist in expanding the firm's enterprise solutions business nationally. All three join Avison Young from Cushman & Wakefield/Northmarq in Minneapolis, where they specialized in occupier advisory services.

Fulton brings 24 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young while Youngquist and Severson have worked in the industry for 10 and 14 years, respectively.

Avison Young opened its Minneapolis office in March 2015. Over the past six years, Avison Young has grown from 11 to 69 offices and from 300 to more than 2,000 real estate professionals across Canada, the U.S. and Europe.

Biographies
Doug Fulton
Doug Fulton brings 24 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, most recently as Executive Director of occupier advisory services with Cushman & Wakefield/ Northmarq in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Assisting clients worldwide, Fulton has dedicated much of his career to providing advisory services to office and industrial space users. Before moving to Cushman & Wakefield/Northmarq in 2007 through its acquisition of Northstar Partners, where he had formerly served as partner and Senior Vice-President since 2002, Fulton was a Senior Vice-President with Grubb & Ellis, where he led a corporate advisory team. During his career, Fulton has represented numerous national and regional clients, including Polaris Industries, Cambria USA, Morgan Stanley, Magenic Technologies and CenturyLink.
Fulton is a past board member and President of NAIOP-Minnesota and past board member with the Minnesota State Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a governor for Opportunity International, an international micro-lending organization. In his community, he serves as a Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 102 in Edina and is involved in numerous Dartmouth College volunteer functions. Fulton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in government from Dartmouth College.
Rob Youngquist
Rob Youngquist joins Avison Young from Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq in Minneapolis, where he most recently served as a Senior Director of tenant advisory services. Youngquist began his brokerage career with Cushman & Wakefield/NorthMarq in 2005 and concentrated on the office and healthcare asset classes before moving into corporate services. During his career, he has been involved in transactions totaling approximately 3 million square feet and valued in excess of $200 million. Past and current clients include Accenture, Brocade Communications, Donaldson Company, Korn Ferry, Briggs and Morgan law firm, Konica Minolta, Lowry Hill Investment Advisors (Wells Fargo) and TCF National Bank.
Youngquist is the local 2015 President-Elect (2016 President) for CCIM, and is a member of NAIOP and the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR). In 2006, he was recognized as one of the Top 15 Office Brokers by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. He has also garnered Cushman & Wakefield's Emerging Broker of the Year (2007) and CoStar Power Broker (2008) awards. In 2014, he was recognized as one of Cushman & Wakefield Northmarq's top producers while also receiving MNCAR's Office Transaction of the Year award based on a deal completed for TCF National Bank. Youngquist holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Bethel University in St. Paul.
Stephanie Severson
Stephanie Severson brings 14 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, most recently as a Director of tenant advisory services with Cushman & Wakefield/ NorthMarq in Minneapolis. She entered the industry in 2001 as a research intern with Grubb & Ellis' Twin Cities office. Upon moving into a permanent position within Northstar Partners' office services group, she was named the firm's Emerging Broker of the Year in 2006. She also received recognition from the MNCAR for her involvement in the 2006 Office Transaction of the Year, and was named as part of the No. 2 Office Brokerage Team in the Twin Cities by The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. During her career, Severson has specialized in tenant representation as well as multi-market transaction management for clients such as Thrivent Financial, CenturyLink and Great Clips, completing on average more than 100 transactions per year.
Severson serves the industry as a member of MNCAR and NAIOP, and was awarded the NAIOP Minnesota chapter's 2014 Volunteer of the Year Award for her work with Camp Fire Minnesota. She holds a Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas and a Juris Doctor law degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law.
