Corporate Expansion Leads Righttime Medical Care and HeadFirst Concussion Care to Hire and Promote for Clinical and Operations Roles
ANNAPOLIS, Md., Feb. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Maryland-based urgent care company Righttime Medical Care announced several new hires and promotions due to recent growth. Karen Laugel, M.D., FAAP, Terry Janes, D.H.Sc., and Michele Dullea, recently joined the company in both clinical and operational roles. Additionally, Aisha Rahim, M.D., has been promoted to an expanded clinical oversight position.

Dr. Laugel was hired as Medical Director for Righttime's concussion evaluation and treatment program, HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care. In her role, Dr. Laugel oversees all HeadFirst clinics and their related clinical activities involving professional medical judgment and the delivery of patient care for mild traumatic brain injuries. She serves as HeadFirst's medical liaison to collaborate with the Righttime Clinical team as well as with their network of specialists and hospitals throughout the state.
Prior to joining HeadFirst, Dr. Laugel founded and served as medical director of a concussion clinic in Connecticut. She also has clinical experience in the hospital and pediatric urgent care setting. Dr. Laugel received her doctorate from Howard University College of Medicine, completed a pediatric residency program at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Rahim, who joined Righttime in 2015, was recently named Medical Director for Montgomery County (Md.). In her new position, Dr. Rahim directs and coordinates medical education, training, and support for Righttime clinical teams in Montgomery County. She collaborates with the Righttime Clinical team to focus on quality medical care delivery and serves as a liaison to other community health care partners.
Dr. Rahim received her medical doctorate from Khyber Medical College and completed the internal medicine residency program at the University of Connecticut. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Terry Janes and Michele Dullea were hired as regional directors of operations for all Righttime Care Centers, currently in 18 Maryland communities with additional locations opening this year. Janes and Dullea oversee the leadership, direction and coordination for all Righttime Medical Care centers, directing and developing methods to improve the delivery of patient services and corporate growth plans.
Janes brings many years of experience in healthcare administration and leadership, while Dullea has an extensive background in corporate growth, operations and strategic planning for multi-million dollar corporations. Janes received his master's degree from Seton Hall University and earned his doctorate in Health Sciences from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dullea attended the University of Oregon and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.
