Smith's practice focuses on providing corporate and securities counsel with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. His clients range from private individuals, entrepreneurs, and early stage companies to large, publicly-traded corporations. Smith regularly serves as outside general counsel to his clients. He advises clients in a variety of industries including technology, financial services and lending.
Smith received his B.A. from Brigham Young University and his J.D. from Washington and Lee School of Law. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2010.
