CoroWare and Dispersive Solutions Announce Cybersecurity Solution for Enterprise Applications
Early Adopter Availability of CoroWare Cybersecurity for Enterprise Applications
KIRKLAND, Wash. and ATLANTA, March 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CoroWare, Inc. (COWI.OTCQB) and Dispersive Solutions Inc. (DSI) announced today the launch of CoroWare Cybersecurity for Enterprise Applications, which is built upon DSI's Spread Spectrum IPTM patented network security technology.
Enterprise customers are increasingly deploying mobile applications each year and facing new cybersecurity threats that target mobile devices. Sophisticated hackers employ a range of threats, including "man-in-the-middle attacks" to electronically intercept Internet traffic, Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks to interrupt application servers, or network impersonation attacks to obtain user details and passwords illegally.
To address this problem, CoroWare has partnered with Dispersive Solutions, Inc. (DSI) to deliver CoroWare Cybersecurity for Enterprise Applications, a suite of solutions that can secure enterprise customers' mission critical applications that operate over the Internet, including electronic mail, customer relationship management (CRM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP). As well, CoroWare Cybersecurity for Enterprise Applications can secure IP-based communications, including HD videoconferencing, Internet chat, and Voice Over IP (VoIP).
"Enterprise customers are looking for cyber security solutions that can ensure the security of mission critical applications that operate over mobile networks and the Internet," said Robert Twitchell, chief executive officer of Dispersive Solutions, Inc. "Working with CoroWare, enterprise customers will be able to benefit from DSI's patented Virtual Dispersive Networking (VDN) with Spread Spectrum IP™ technology."
VDN is a 100% software solution with centrally managed security capabilities. This virtual network is managed through a Dispersive Presence Server (DPS), which controls who participates in the network. Through the DPS, network administrators are able to detect network intrusions, and furthermore, are able to isolate that intrusion, protecting the integrity of the network as a whole.
"Working with DSI, we believe this next generation cybersecurity solution provides enhanced application security more affordably than other alternatives on the market," said Lloyd Spencer, chief executive officer of CoroWare, Inc. "CoroWare's solution and early adopter program will help customers secure their networks and ensure that their applications and content are safe from external security threats worldwide."
CoroWare Cybersecurity for Enterprise Applications is available to enterprise customers through CoroWare's Early Adopter Program, in which customers may evaluate the solution in conjunction with their own mission critical applications. Through this program, enterprise customer may evaluate how CoroWare's solutions can help them secure their enterprise applications and operations from the malicious activities of hackers and malware.
