"In an age where there is a blizzard of talented young performers, Matthew and Jonathan Reichenberger stand head and shoulders above their contemporaries," said Leslie Hammes of the Music Teachers National Association. "Their collective talent puts them in another league. They should become household names in the future world of classical piano."
Both Matthew and Jonathan Reichenberger have been playing and studying the piano for more than 10 years. Matthew was just seven years old when he created his first composition and won first place in the Florida Federation of Music Club. Since then, he has won numerous awards and has performed at numerous venues, including the Trinity Concert Series in Fort Lauderdale where he performed with his brother, Jonathan.
Jonathan also began performing at an early age and was a first place winner in the Pompano Beach Children in the Arts Piano Competition for six consecutive years. He has performed on WXEL radio and WLRN-TV's American Ideal program and in numerous concert series.
The Reichenberger brothers also cofounded Changing Lives Ministry, which is a multi-denominational, traditional-contemporary online media ministry with a staff from 10 different countries, and they serve as pianists for the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church's Sunday worship service.
"Matthew and Jonathan have extraordinary musical talent and are already distinguishing themselves at major national competitions," said Chelsea Chen, Artistic Director of the Coral Ridge Concert Series. "We are thrilled to be able to present them in this concert of solo and duo piano music!"
The Reichenberger Brothers Piano Concert will include solo and duet performances of several classical compositions by Mozart, Bach, Prokofiev, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Brahms.
