DALLAS, July 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- COPsync, Inc. (NASDAQ: COYN), announced today that the Bexar County Sheriff's Office in Texas will conduct an evaluation of the COPsync Network™ to determine the effectiveness of the system in saving officer lives, protecting the public and stopping criminal activities. COPsync operates the nation's only law enforcement in-car, real-time information sharing and data communication network ("Network") and the COPsync911™ threat-alert service for schools, government buildings, airports, hospitals and other potentially at -risk facilities. We are excited to see the possibilities that exist with COPsync and look forward to seeing what we can accomplish during this trial period."
Mr. Ronald A. Woessner, CEO of COPsync commented, "The COPsync Network saves lives and helps officers catch criminals. Period. There are dozens of examples of lives that have been saved, including that of a child that was duct-taped, thrown into the back of a vehicle and kidnapped. That child was recovered, and the child's life saved with the COPsync system. Officer lives also have been saved, and terrorists have been captured using the COPsync system. Further, the COPsync system equips officers with information and provides them options before they determine to use deadly force. This keeps members of the public safer as well."
