Copper Deepens Integration with Google Cloud Platform to Bring Instant Visual Analytics via Data Studio
Integration Solidifies the Next Generation of CRM by Helping Teams Work Together, Make Better Data-Driven Decisions
SAN FRANCISCO, July 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Copper, a Google-recommended CRM formerly known as ProsperWorks, today announced a native integration with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Studio. Data Studio is a free tool that makes vital data accessible and useful, allowing customers to create charts and reports with easy drag-and-drop features for quick visualization of business information. Copper is moving to GCP and this new feature within Copper CRM enables customers to apply Data Studios' powerful analytics software to their relationship data at the press of a button.
"Copper is focused on removing the complex, expensive and difficult-to-manage aspects of CRM," said Jon Aniano, chief product officer of Copper. "We know Google has the best-in-class business intelligence capabilities as part of GCP and we can leverage it to help our customers get better visibility into their businesses."
Copper customers, including Lumapps, are leveraging GCP and the Data Studio and Copper integration to quickly visualize critical business data including sales summaries, lead conversion rates, win rates, average sale prices and more. By eliminating the manual data entry that has plagued legacy CRM offerings of the past, Copper's native integration in G Suite allows users to automate workflows and complete business tasks without interruption.
Copper launched its Google Chrome extension in 2014. Since then, Copper's integration within Google has expanded, enabling users to also access critical CRM data within Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts Chat, Data Studio and more. With this partnership, Google will provide joint go-to-market support via a SaaS sales alignment program.
"Embedded analytics are becoming critical for CRM vendors, as they drive greater productivity and visibility for end users and managers," said Rebecca Watterman at Nucleus Research. "Copper's new integration with Google's Data Studio brings the mission of Google – organizing the world's information and making it useful – to empower Copper users with more intelligent customer interactions."
While most business intelligence tools are complex and expensive, Copper and Data Studio provide reports that are fully customizable and easy to read and share. In addition, teams and businesses can easily utilize Data Studio's features to better understand every relationship they manage from leads, accounts, partners, vendors, and creative resources. Key features of Copper's integration with Data Studio include:
- Relationship statistics: Copper's Data Studio dashboards help relationship makers tell great data stories and make better business decisions.
- Engaging visual analytics: Copper and Data Studio give teams and businesses the ability to create meaningful, shareable charts and graphs that bring data to life. With easy-to-use data visualization, customers can split trends across different categories or run an in-depth cohort analysis.
- Seamless business analysis: Customers can leverage Copper CRM metadata to view sales indicators, identify trends, and gain insights. They can also export critical relationship data to run trend analyses.
