At its industry-leading LED Innovation Center, Cooper Lighting has internally developed and recently launched the ALM 1.0, a patent pending linear LED platform designed to integrate into 32 luminaires within the company's historical linear fluorescent brands. The new, innovative technology and the range of products that utilize it will be on display at Cooper Lighting's LIGHTFAIR booth #1933.
The proprietary low-power, low-brightness LED module assembly offers exceptional optical performance, equivalent to or greater than fluorescent systems, with the enhanced benefits of LED lighting, including energy savings, an extended system life, a reduced carbon footprint and 15 to 20 percent reduced power density (watts consumed per square foot). The new extensive interior product offering is represented across Cooper Lighting's Ametrix, Corelite, Fail-Safe, Metalux and Neo-Ray brands and provides application solutions for recessed, surface or direct-indirect general illumination and wall wash solutions.
Cooper Lighting will also honor the winners of the 34th Annual SOURCE Awards national lighting design competition at the Keynote Speaker Luncheon on May 16 at LIGHTFAIR International 2011. Six professional awards and four student awards will be presented. The annual competition, which focuses on furthering the understanding, knowledge and function of lighting as a primary element in design, requires the primary and predominant use of Cooper Lighting products. Cooper Lighting has held this competition since 1977.
"We are very excited to be introducing our new patent pending linear LED technology at this international event," said Mark Eubanks, President, Cooper Lighting. "LIGHTFAIR International is a perfect opportunity to launch this innovative technology that enhances our brand offerings, and Cooper Lighting is always eager to showcase our new products and solutions to the audience at this event."
Cooper Lighting offers a range of indoor, outdoor and specialty LED lighting products and corresponding accessories, all of which are specifically designed to maximize energy and cost savings. Many new products will be on display at the booth, including those that feature the new ALM 1.0 technology.
