To kickoff the inaugural event, Cooper Lighting will be offering continuing education classes at the DLC meeting headquarters in Atlanta and will host a separate invitational Welcoming Reception at its corporate headquarters in Peachtree City on Sunday, October 28. The DLC is a collaboration of both United States and Canadian utility companies and regional energy efficiency organizations committed to raising awareness of the benefits of efficient lighting in commercial buildings. The Stakeholder Meeting will provide the opportunity to bring together utility and energy efficiency program managers and executives, utility contractors, lighting designers, lighting specifiers, testing laboratories, electrical supply and installation companies, government agencies and solid-state lighting (SSL) manufacturers. Here, professionals will have the ability to learn more about the DLC including how product specifications and policies are developed. Sessions will also include discussions on the current issues affecting the rapidly growing market for solid-state lighting (SSL) products in commercial settings.
Attendees have the opportunity to gain Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits by participating in a number of classes on various SSL topics sponsored by Cooper Lighting.
