COTTAGE GROVE, Tenn., Jan. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cooper Holding Corp (Pink Sheets: SHAR), a publicly traded company engaged in the wholesale and retail sale of a diverse line of outdoor products, is delighted to announce the plan to change the stock symbol to keep more in tune with the Cooper Holding name.
The pace of the Company is increasing at a very satisfying rate. The Board of Directors has made a conscious decision to change the stock trading symbol. This change is part of the Phase II transparency plan, which includes the filing of the S-1 registration for up listing to the OTCBB. The Board of Directors expects the symbol change to better identify with the Cooper Holding name and the products. Shareholders can expect to see more updates on this in the near future.
"The Company is garnering increased interest publicly, privately and abroad. The Board of Directors feels this request to change our symbol at this juncture in time will benefit and complement both the shareholders and the Company alike as we move forward into the new year," Dan Cooper, President of Cooper Holding Corp.
