Cooper Green Mercy Hospital Goes Live with Stockell Healthcare's InsightCS® System to Address Its Patient Access and Patient Accounting Requirements

ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Stockell Healthcare Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that its InsightCS® Revenue Cycle Information Management system is up and running at Cooper Green Mercy Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.  The system is providing the Jefferson County community hospital with a complete suite of built-in Patient Access (Scheduling, Registration, ADT) and Patient Accounting (Billing, Collections) functionality.

Cooper Green selected Stockell Healthcare's InsightCS® and Medsphere's OpenVista® electronic health record (EHR) system as a replacement for Meditech.  The combination of solutions is enabling the hospital to achieve true, end-to-end electronic patient care and patient information management while meeting Stage One Meaningful Use requirements and qualifying for federal stimulus funds provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
