Conviva Announces Adobe as a Launch Partner for Multi-Screen Quality of Experience (QoE) Metrics
Adobe Primetime is improving customer experience in the player with third-party metrics
FOSTER CITY, Calif., Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Conviva, the leader in OTT experience management for the world's top media companies, today announced Adobe as a launch partner for Conviva's QoE Ecosystem initiative. By bringing all metrics together into the same console, publishers will have a clearer visibility and understanding of the customer experience in the client player. By sharing video experience service statistics provisioned for Adobe, a Publisher is ensuring that Adobe is able to act and respond in the shortest period of time to any issues that might arise in the video viewing experience.
"Adobe is an important long-term partner for us, and many of our top tier publishers use the Primetime framework as an integral component of their solution," says Dr. Hui Zhang, Co-Founder and CEO of Conviva. "We are excited to have Adobe join us in using our consumer viewing experience metrics so that they have the same visibility as their publisher customers."
With Conviva, Adobe will be able to closely monitor the video quality of ads served via Adobe's ad insertion platform. By being able to accurately view the complete customer video experience, including content and ads, Adobe has full visibility into the entire video experience which ultimately helps Adobe Primetime customers maximize both consumer engagement and revenue. The unified console and shared customer visibility will allow Adobe to avoid and even predict some problems before they have a chance to impact experience.
Conviva's multi-screen QoE metrics provide transparency for Adobe and all other constituents in a publisher's video delivery ecosystem, giving Adobe the ability to improve performance. Conviva's metrics are the standard by which performance can be evaluated and measured, and complements Adobe's existing analytics solutions.
