ConvergEx Makes Senior Appointment in Plan Sponsor Sales Group

NEW YORK, March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- ConvergEx Group, a leading provider of investment technologies and execution solutions to institutional clients worldwide, today announced that Brian Elliott has joined the firm as a senior vice president in Plan Sponsor Sales.  In his new role, Mr. Elliott is located in Los Angeles and is responsible for sales and business development for ConvergEx's transition management and commission recapture services throughout the West Coast. 

Mr. Elliott has over 18 years of experience.  Previously, he was with Kayne Anderson Rudnick, where he served as chief marketing officer, senior portfolio advisor and senior vice president of Institutional Account Management. Prior to that, he spent time at Alliance Bernstein and Nicholas Applegate Capital Management.
