Chosen by the editors of Traders Magazine, the awards annually recognize the most impressive women in the fields of trading, investment and portfolio management in the U.S. capital markets. The Industry Trailblazer award is presented to high-performing Wall Street women who broke the gender barrier while advancing their careers in financial markets, creating the opportunity for other women to become traders, managers and successful financial professionals.

Bea Ordonez is the Chief Operations Officer for ConvergEx Execution Solutions and G-Trade Services, two of ConvergEx Group's broker-dealer entities. Ms. Ordonez oversees all U.S. and non-U.S. operational matters for the execution, clearing and intermediary businesses of ConvergEx Group. She manages a team of over 80 professionals located in Florida and New York.

Ms. Ordonez joined G-Trade as its Chief Financial Officer in 1999, taking on the role of Chief Operations Officer and Managing Director in 2006.

Prior to this, Ms. Ordonez worked at Marsh & McLennan, a premier global consulting firm. She also previously worked in London within the mergers and acquisitions department of Price Waterhouse and within the corporate tax department of Arthur Andersen.
