Contractor Informational Meetings Announced for Re-Launched State-Sponsored Home Energy Loan Financing Program
Events in Lehigh Valley, Pittsburgh, Lancaster/Harrisburg Philadelphia and State College areas Spotlight Support by the Pennsylvania Treasury Department, PennVest and DEP for a Financing Program Where Contractors and Homeowners Alike can Benefit from Statewide Financing Program for Energy-Related Home Upgrades
HARRISBURG, Pa., June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Companies and contractors across the state that install energy efficiency home improvements are encouraged to attend a free seminar that will feature important information about KeystoneHELP, Pennsylvania's official ENERGY STAR HVAC & home improvement financing plan.
Originally launched statewide in 2006, KeystoneHELP is an innovative public/private partnership that allowed approximately 14,000 homeowners to affordably finance a range of home improvements, including HVAC equipment, water heaters, air conditioning, roofing, insulation, windows, doors, siding, geothermal power systems, and other improvements. The popular program recently relaunched with higher loan amounts now available to homeowners.
KeystoneHELP's below market, longer term, unsecured financing, can help Pennsylvania homeowners to affordably improve the energy efficiency of their homes. For loan amounts from $2,500 to $20,000, KeystoneHELP requires no home equity, has loan terms of up to ten years and no closing costs.
Contractors can offer their customers KeystoneHELP as a fixed rate alternative to higher rate credit cards or other financing methods. Contractors must be approved by Renew Financial to perform work under the program. Information on how to become an approved KeystoneHELP Contractor will be available at the informational gatherings.
At the seminars, contractors will learn about the market opportunity for energy upgrades throughout the state, get program updates and details on KeystoneHELP's new customer marketing programs that contractors can use in sales efforts.
