Contract for Public Transport Terminal in Breda Awarded to Ballast Nedam and Hurks

Prorail has awarded the contract for the construction of the new OV (public transport) terminal in Breda to Ballast Nedam and Hurks. The intent to do so was published earlier on 5 September 2011.
At the time, the Ballast Nedam/Hurks combination entered the most competitive bid in the European call for tenders. The contract price is approximately € 130 million. The final contract will be signed on 9 March 2012.
