ISSAQUAH, Wash., Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As an Author as well as the Founder and Director of Ascendant Publishing, Birkwood utilizes her expertise in fiction as well as non-fiction writing, publishing and management. She started her work with Ascendant Publishing five years ago.
Prior to entering the publishing field in 1990, Birkwood successfully held management positions in the software industry. She was one of the first female managers at Hewlett Packard and served as the Director of Software Engineering for HP Laboratories. In addition, she was named the Vice President of Tandem Computers.
Today, Birkwood can cite a number of published fictional mystery genre works on her resume, including What to Do about Emma, The Second Torpedo, Deadly Deception and her newly published book, Hidden Depths.
