Continental Powertrain Technologies Celebrate Two Decades of Customer Success in Best Engine Competition
- Nine of the Ward's 10 Best Engines feature Continental powertrain technologies.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Reaching a milestone, Continental, a leading international automotive supplier, is observing its 20th consecutive year of contributions of powertrain technologies to winners of Ward's 10 Best Engines competition.
For the 2014 awards, Continental has contributed to nine engines that have set the benchmark in power, torque, technology, observed fuel economy, relative competitiveness and noise, vibration and harshness characteristics. This selective group of engines is determined by eight editors of WardsAuto magazine after evaluating 44 new or significantly upgraded engines in their routine daily commutes around metro Detroit.
