Contemporary Services Corporation Signs 3-Year Contract with San Jose State University

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Dec. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), the world's largest event security firm, is proud to announce its three year contract extension with San Jose State University Athletics. CSC has been a proud partner of the university since 1998 and is very pleased to continue the relationship. Founded in 1857 as Minns' Evening Normal School, San Jose State University is the oldest public school of higher education in the state and now offers more than 134 bachelor's and master's degrees with 110 concentrations. CSC provides crowd management services for all San Jose State Spartans football games at the historic Spartan Stadium, which is home to both the football team and the men's and women's soccer teams.

Spartan Stadium currently seats 30,456 for football and soccer and is the site of the school's annual commencement ceremonies, as well as concerts, professional and collegiate soccer matches, religious convocations, band competitions and high school football games. The 1999 Women's World Cup and the 1999 NCAA Women's College Cup were also both played at Spartan Stadium and attracted record-setting crowds. CSC also provides services for other athletic events on campus, including volleyball and gymnastics at Spartan Gym, baseball at Blethen Field, soccer at Spartan Stadium, and basketball at the San Jose Event Center.
