Contemporary Services Corporation Senior Vice President Mark Camillo Appointed to Pennsylvania Public Safety Committee

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Jan. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC) announces the appointment of its Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, Mark Camillo, to Governor-elect Tom Corbett's Pennsylvania Transition Team. Mr. Corbett has selected 400 people to serve on the 17 transition team groups which will examine every state department in order to help formulate policy, choose key personnel and recommend ways to cut costs. Each committee is temporary in nature and will conclude when Mr. Corbett is sworn into office on January 18. Mr. Camillo has been appointed to the Public Safety Committee which will examine state agencies with public safety and homeland security responsibilities in order to provide input and help formulate policy for the incoming administration.

Mr. Camillo is internationally recognized as a law enforcement and security professional and is credited with directing the security operations of some of the most critical infrastructures in the world. He completed a distinguished 21-year career as a Special Agent in the U.S. Secret Service which included three separate assignments at the White House and an appointment to the position of Secret Service Deputy Assistant Director. Mr. Camillo has held several key positions during his career in major event planning, most notably being appointed as the Olympic Coordinator for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics. He also serves as an appointed member of the American Society of Industrial Security's Global Terrorism Council, is an active member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and is Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Academy for Venue Safety & Security. Mr. Camillo was also named a Senior Fellow at the George Mason University Center for Infrastructure Protection, serving as a subject matter expert in security studies and operations.
