This year's tournament takes place August 30 – September 12 at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the world's largest public tennis facility. In 2009, CSC's Special Events II division was awarded a 3-year contract to provide security services for the US Open Tennis Championships, including executive/VIP protection, player escorts, on-court protection, anti-doping teams, and staffing for other critical security positions. CSC will employ over 1,000 licensed security guards for this year's tournament and will be working closely with US Open Security Director Mike Rodriguez and the USTA staff in order to provide a secure environment for all guests, players, vendors, and employees. CSC will also work alongside the USTA security department, as well as federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
