Contemporary Services Corporation Announces New President, Jim Granger

NORTHRIDGE, Calif., Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), the world leader in event security and crowd management, announces Jim Granger as its new President. Mr. Granger's promotion was recently announced at CSC's annual regional meetings in Wisconsin by former CSC President Damon Zumwalt, who will retain his title as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Granger began his career with CSC in June of 1991 as the Director of Operations for the Los Angeles branch office. He was soon promoted to Co-Branch Manager and during the next three years helped CSC double its client base and created programs to help cut costs and increase profitability. In 1997 Mr. Granger was promoted to Regional Manager, overseeing the west coast operations for CSC. During this time several of CSC's west coast branch offices signed new client contracts and hired hundreds of employees.

Mr. Granger was appointed to Vice President of Administration in 2000 where his responsibilities included managing CSC's corporate office, with the Legal, IT, Payroll and Finance departments reporting to him on a daily basis. In 2005 he was promoted to Senior Vice President, overseeing the corporate office as well as branch operations in North America. Throughout his career with CSC, Mr. Granger has formulated and executed operational plans at numerous major events, including the Rose Bowl Game and Rose Parade, UCLA football, World Cup Soccer, Super Bowls, USC football, Raiders, Rams, Angels, and hundreds of concerts and special events. He has been married for 28 years to his wife Lorita, an athletic trainer at UCLA, and also has two children, Jennifer (23), a recent graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, and Eric (20), a junior at Azusa Pacific University.
