CSC President/CEO, Damon Zumwalt, has promoted Jay Purves to Vice President of CSC Nevada, where he will be responsible for managing and overseeing operations in the Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe areas. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Purves spent the last five years as the Southeast Regional Manager for CSC in Atlanta where he successfully secured client contracts while building partnerships with the Georgia Dome, Atlanta Falcons, University of Georgia, Auburn University, the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Georgia Tech, Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University and the Atlanta Beat, and Wake Forest University. Mr. Purves retired from the United States Air Force after a highly successful and decorated 20-year career in business administration, air traffic control, and sales/marketing with Air Force Recruiting Service. He has been with CSC since January 2000 and is a veteran of 6 NFL Super Bowls, 5 NCAA Men's/Women's Final Fours, numerous college bowl games and NCAA Championships, several large conventions/tradeshows and major concert performances. Mr. Purves is also a member of the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Collegiate Event and Facilities Management Association (CEFMA), Collegiate Athletic Operations Services (CAOS), and holds the Department of Homeland Security ICS/NIMS 100, 200, 700a, and 800a certifications.
