JACKSON, Mich., Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers Energy has applied for renewal of its electricity wholesaler licence with the Ontario Energy Board. Under this licence, in place since 2002, Consumers Energy can purchase or sell wholesale electricity with Ontario utilities under existing provincial regulations.
