Consumers Energy Announces Executive Changes, Building on Customer Focus and Commitment to Michigan
JACKSON, Mich., Jan. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Consumers Energy, Michigan's largest utility and the fourth-largest U.S. combination utility, announced today several leadership moves that build on its customer-first focus and commitment to serving Michigan.

Today's leadership announcement builds on nearly 130 years of serving communities and businesses across our state," said John Russell, president and chief executive officer for Consumers Energy.
- Guy Packard is named vice president of electric operations, having previously served as vice president of generation operations. With more than 20 years of operational experience at Consumers Energy, including a specific focus on safety improvement, Packard will lead the electric distribution systems and associated workforce.
- John Broschak is named vice president of generation operations, having previously served as vice president of major projects and construction. Broschak has more than 20 years of industry experience and assumes responsibility for the Company's statewide power generation operations.
- Dennis Dobbs, currently vice president of generation engineering and services, will assume responsibility for major projects and construction. Dobbs joined Consumers Energy in 1999 and has held a series of increasing responsibilities in generation management and leadership.
Consumers Energy, Michigan's largest utility, is the principal subsidiary of CMS Energy (NYSE: CMS), providing natural gas and electricity to 6.6 million of the state's 10 million residents in all 68 Lower Peninsula counties.
