MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Consulting Radiologists, Ltd. announced today the hiring of Karen Flanagan Kleinhans, M.H.A. as Chief of Strategy & Business Development. Ms. Flanagan Kleinhans will lead and implement CRL's overall strategic direction, business development and marketing plans.

In addition, she will drive strong partnerships within and outside the local healthcare community. Ms. Flanagan Kleinhans will evaluate and generate new initiatives supporting the vision, strategies, and planning priorities of Consulting Radiologists, Ltd.

Ms. Flanagan Kleinhans' extensive background in strategy, business development and project management has been enhanced through her leadership experience with physician organizations, hospitals and health plans, spanning 20 years. She comes to CRL from Allina Hospitals and Clinics where she was Director of Network Development. In that position, she was responsible for the development and implementation of the Allina Integrated Medical Network (AIMN), a clinically integrated physician network.

She received her Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Colorado.
