Construction Law Conferences Feature Judges and In-House Counsel, HB Announces
BERWYN, Pa., Feb. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Legal issues facing the construction industry will be addressed at two programs – one on litigation and the other on broader industry concerns – both featuring judges, in-house counsel and leading construction law attorneys, HB CEO Tom Hagy has announced. One program is free of charge for in-house counsel, Hagy said.
The two events are:
Construction Litigation Leaders Forum 2012, Santa Monica, Calif., March 8-9, 2012.
Free to in-house counsel, this program features six sitting judges, eight in-house counsel and a bank of attorneys who will discuss green buildings, modeling damages, a mock session on closing statements, the role of mediation, real life insurance challenges in construction litigation, and dealing with insolvent companies.

Developed in collaboration with the National Association of Home Builders (nahb.org), this program features a keynote speech by former Senator Tom Daschle and an impressive faculty that includes a sitting federal judge from Texas, a representative of the Federal Trade Commission, and the former Deputy Solicitor of Labor.
