Top Los Angeles Minority Entrepreneur Among Prestigious Group of Leaders at New Non-Profit Centered on Improving American Healthcare
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Feb. 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ConsejoSano, a venture-funded multicultural patient engagement platform for underserved populations, announced today that its Founder and CEO Abner Mason has joined the founder's council of United States of Care. Launched in February 2018 by former Medicare/Medicaid Administrator Andy Slavitt, United States of Care is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that every single American has access to quality, affordable healthcare regardless of health status, social need or income.
As a member of the United States of Care founder's council, Mason brings dynamic civic and business experience to the organization, with specific expertise in healthcare among multicultural, underserved populations. Mason founded ConsejoSano in 2014, the only patient engagement and care navigation system designed for Medicaid/Medicare, underserved and multilingual populations to better engage with the healthcare system. He serves as ConsejoSano CEO.

He is among a number of minority leaders on the United States of Care founder's council in addition to one of its only entrepreneurs leading a venture-backed technology startup.
