Conscious Philanthropist, Dlyted Founder Barry Shore Debuts "The Joy of Living" Radio Show
Weekly program features recognized leaders in living successfully, purposefully, joyfully
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- His story has inspired others to live a life full of joy and gratitude. Successful businessman Barry Shore went to work one day in September 2004, healthy and happy. The next day he lay in a hospital bed a quadriplegic, able only to move his head from side to side. What followed was years of recovery and rehabilitation from the effects of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a condition in which the immune system attacks the body's nervous system.
Always an optimist, Shore discovered that his affliction was also his motivation to discover daily opportunities to do good. He has since committed himself to helping others and has a mission to raise one billion dollars for causes that help people and communities through his online giving platform Dlyted, which enables people to give to their favorite organizations without costing them a penny.
To show others that they can overcome obstacles and challenges in life and enjoy each and every day, he has launched a new radio show "The Joy of Living" featuring guests who share his passion for life and, as Shore says, "GO MAD," an acronym for Go Make A Difference!
The Joy of Living recently debuted on VoiceAmerica.com. Shore, who has been dubbed the Ambassador of Joy, is excited to begin this new chapter. "I've been blessed throughout my life, both in business and personally, despite the setback I encountered those many years ago and I want to pay those blessings forward by helping others," Shore said. "I now have the platform to reach millions of people and, along with my guests, show them that every day is a gift and can be filled with appreciation and gratitude for what we have!"
With his connections in the business and philanthropic world, Shore has secured guests recognized for their contributions to people and communities, and who share his passion for life. Joining him for future shows are:
- Berny and September Dohrmann, founders of CEO Space International, ranked by Forbes.com as the number one "Must Attend" business conference;
- Frank Shankwitz, co-founder of Make-A-Wish Foundation;
- Dr. Bernie Siegel, known for his best-selling book Love, Medicine and Miracles;
- Greg Reid best-selling author and founder of the networking event Secret Knock; and
- Rachel McCord, Hollywood celebrity and social entrepreneur.
"I'm honored to be joined by these wonderful people who have found their own great successes in life and are driven to improve the lives of others through their passions," Shore added.
The Joy of Living can be heard live each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Voice America or any time as a podcast available on iTunes and iHeartRadio. For more information, visit www.BarryShore.com or www.VoiceAmerica.com
