ConnectEDU Becomes a Blackboard Signature Partner™

BOSTON, Dec. 13, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- ConnectEDU, Inc., the web-based leader in empowering students to manage their education and launch their career, today announced it has joined the Blackboard Alliance Program™ as a Blackboard Signature Partner.™

ConnectEDU acquired the CoursEval™ product line from Academic Management Systems (AMS) in September, 2010.  

CoursEval™ is a web-based survey system that makes course and instructor evaluation easier, smarter, and less expensive for colleges, universities and health profession schools.  The partnership will allow students in the Blackboard Learn platform to easily access and anonymously complete course evaluations via the MyCoursEval™ Remote Portal Interface.  

"Course evaluations are a vital part of every institution's cycle of education.  As more and more institutions are taking learning online, so too are they taking their course evaluations online.  The ability to report and track institution-wide goals and objectives allows institutions to look at performance at a macro and micro level and improve their instruction both online and in the classroom," said Matt Small, Blackboard's Chief Business Officer.
