Congressman Joe Barton to Attend Grant Presentation to Nonprofit A-CROSS from Ennis State Bank, FHLB Dallas

ENNIS, Texas, Oct. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --Please join U.S. Representative Joe Barton (TX-6) and representatives from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and Ennis State Bank as they present $20,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) awards to A-CROSS (A Christian Response of Shelter & Service).

A-CROSS, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and United Way agency, was founded in 1993 to provide interim housing with counseling services and emergency lodging for individuals and families living in and around Ennis, Texas.

FHLB Dallas awarded $225,000 in grants through its PGP this year. The grants provide funding for the operational needs of community-based organizations involved in affordable housing and community development.
