Congressman Fattah Endorses ESEA Blueprint, Applauds Administration's Historic Move

WASHINGTON, March 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-Pa.), a leading Congressional advocate for equal educational opportunity and closing achievement gaps, today endorsed the Obama Administration's Blueprint for Reform.  

The Blueprint, which outlines the Administration's plan for a reauthorized Elementary and Secondary Education Act, makes historic moves to ensure all children have access to the resources they need to be successful, particularly highly effective teachers and college- and career-ready curricula.  

"This is the most important education reform in the nation's history.  For years, we have been asking more and more of our teachers, schools and students without ensuring that they had the necessary resources to be successful," Fattah said.
