China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. and Concurrent to demo new generation "Quick VOD" platform at China Content Broadcasting Network Exhibition 2011 (CCBN 2011) at Booth No. 1B40
ATLANTA, March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Concurrent (Nasdaq: CCUR), a global leader in video, media data and advertising solutions, today announced it is working in partnership with China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE:STV), one of the leading digital TV technology solution providers in China, to roll out a cloud-based interactive TV platform created to drive video delivery throughout the country.
Concurrent's video servers will be used by China Digital TV to create "Quick VOD" – a cloud-based interactive TV platform - for China's network operators and content providers.
China Digital TV Holding Co., Ltd. will demonstrate "Quick VOD" total video delivery platform, including Concurrent's video delivery solutions, at CCBN, the largest broadcasting tradeshow exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. The show will be held in Beijing from March 23 to March 25.
