ATLANTA, Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR), a global provider of high-performance Linux® and storage solutions, today announced it will unveil a real-time hypervisor solution integrated with its latest RedHawk™ Linux operating system at the 2015 Interactive/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, FL, November 30th – December 4th. Concurrent will demonstrate how a real-time hypervisor enables multiple real-time and non-real-time operating systems to run on the same hardware platform simultaneously without incurring performance penalties. This provides a way for customers to reduce their hardware footprint by running multiple disparate applications on different cores within the same multi-blade server.
"We look forward to demonstrating our RedHawk solution running on a real-time hypervisor at the upcoming I/ITSEC show," said Ken Jackson, Senior Vice President of Real-Time and Linux Solutions. "Taking guidance from our most advanced customers we have developed a more robust product that addresses aerospace and defense industry requirements and outperforms standard alternatives such as KVM-QEMU."
In addition to its real-time hypervisor demonstration, Concurrent will be showcasing the following solutions:
I/ITSEC, the world's largest modeling, simulation and training conference, brings together thousands of defense and security professionals to discuss the latest trends in technology related to their field. The company will host meetings with customers and partners at its booth on the tradeshow floor (#1908).
