Concurrent Technologies Corporation to Host and Sponsor 6th Annual Alternative Energy NOW Conference
Conference Allows Attendees from Government, Industry, Academia, and Military Services to Exchange Information on Advanced Alternative Energy Topics
JOHNSTOWN, Pa., Jan. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 6-7, 2012, Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) will host and sponsor the 6th Annual Alternative Energy NOW Conference at the Shades of Green Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The national conference draws in leadership from government, industry, academia, and all U.S. military services.
The 6th Annual Alternative Energy NOW Conference is designed to provide an open forum that promotes and facilitates technical information exchange as related to proven and emerging advanced alternative energy topics. Moreover, this conference seeks to leverage participants' knowledge of actual installations and case studies through the sharing of experiences, metrics, results, recommendations, and lessons learned. An Exhibitor Center will offer participating companies and individuals the opportunity to showcase their technology or theories via networking circles and full-size or table-top displays and posters.
"CTC has hosted the Alternative Energy NOW Conference since its inception in 2007," said Ms. Milissa Pavlik, CTC's Executive Director, Power, Energy & Green Technology Solutions. "But this is the first year that we will be sponsoring the conference on our own. The depth and breadth of information, presentations, and presenters will continue to be of the highest quality. However, in contrast to previous years, this year's conference will have more networking and open discussion periods to allow attendees to share information and grow future relationships."
The Alternative Energy NOW Conference will feature discussions in topic areas such as: Advanced Electric Vehicles, Alternative Fuels, Commercial/Industrial and International Initiatives, Cultural Change Impacts and Approaches, Energy Security, Operational Considerations, Shale Gas Exploration and End Use, Small Scale Nuclear Energy, Solar and Wind Technologies, and Waste-to-Energy Technologies and Methodologies.
