Concurrent Introduces Advanced Media Data Logistics Platform
Platform addresses complexity of media data across multiple screens; provides auditable guarantees for data quality, timeliness, and privacy compliance
ATLANTA, June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR), a global leader in video and media data and advertising solutions, today launched a key strategic offering that provides customers the ability to guarantee data quality, timeliness, and privacy compliance from source to destination. This service includes cutting-edge data monitoring and auditing technologies, best practices for handling end-to-end data processes, and specialized intelligence in the domain of cross service data management solutions.
"With this enhanced offering, we can deliver guaranteed media data quality, consistent and timely delivery, and ensure full compliance with data privacy requirements and regulations for our customers' cross services data needs," said Paul Haddad, Concurrent's senior vice president of media data and advertising solutions.
The media data logistics component will be applied to consumption and operational data generated from video on demand, linear, clickstream, interactive, web-based, and mobile platforms. As part of the service, Concurrent will audit, in real time, the media data sources and flow, and certify the level of quality and accuracy of the information to the receiving parties.
When completely implemented, the service will enable customers to fully benefit from monitoring their data in order to offer quality guarantees to their customers and partners.
"This is a natural addition to our media data management portfolio which currently aggregates, warehouses, and exchanges cross services data among various media industry constituents," Haddad added. "Once these services are implemented, our customers will be able to efficiently manage their media businesses based on census-level, real time, and guaranteed quality information, and focus on enhancing their revenue generating services."
