(NASDAQ: EXTR) today announced that Concurrency, an IT consulting agency and Microsoft's largest partner in the Midwest, selected Extreme's software-driven wired and wireless solutions to support BYOD and improve network security and performance among its three locations. Concurrency selected Extreme's robust networking portfolio, which encompasses wired and wireless, as well as sought after SDN capabilities that Concurrency needed to deploy a secure, high-speed network.

Due to Concurrency's growing mobile workforce, the need for reliable network access on-the-go was a rising concern. With Extreme's software-driven networking solutions, Concurrency was able to analyze both wired and wireless traffic, enabling the small IT team to resolve network issues in real time. After deploying ExtremeWireless™, ExtremeSwitching™, ExtremeManagement™ and ExtremeControl™, Concurrency was able to improve the quality and management of its network.
