Concur to Fully Integrate Gogo In-Flight Internet Service Offerings within Concur Travel
Concur's T&E cloud to deliver corporate travel discounts and Gogo service package recommendations based on traveler's itinerary, account status and company policy
REDMOND, Wash., July 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Concur (NASDAQ: CNQR), a leading provider of integrated travel and expense management services, and Gogo, a leader of in-flight connectivity and a pioneer in wireless in-flight digital entertainment solutions, today announced an agreement that will enable business travelers to purchase Gogo in-flight Internet sessions within the travel booking experience delivered through Concur's T&E Cloud.
Business travelers will soon be able to make their air travel choices in Concur Travel based on Gogo connectivity service availability, and purchase the right Gogo pass during the travel booking process. Concur's T&E Cloud will also soon recommend Gogo passes based on the traveler's itinerary, account status and company policy to offer unique corporate travel discounts and packages such as a timed pass covering multiple air carriers during the course of a trip.
Additionally, travelers linking their Concur and Gogo accounts or purchasing Gogo through Concur will get an e-receipt for their expense report. Concur will automatically remind travelers of credits available on their Gogo accounts when they board the next Wi-Fi-equipped flight and suggest discounted packages to travelers and procurement managers based on corporate expense history.
"This is one more illustration of how Concur's T&E Cloud is delivering a better experience for business travelers," said Rajeev Singh, president and COO of Concur. "By leveraging the web services and cloud architecture inherent in the Concur Connect Platform, Concur and Gogo offer policy-compliant enhancements to the business travel experience. "We are excited that Concur has embraced Gogo's web services to deliver a fully integrated, end-to-end approach to offering passengers access to our in-flight Internet service," said Ash ElDifrawi, Gogo's chief marketing officer. "Concur will offer corporate buyers the opportunity to select the right Gogo passes within the convenience of their managed travel solution and take full advantage of the service."
