Concur Enables Cloud Partners to Deliver More Value to SMB Customers; Channel Veteran Sachin Vora Joins Concur to Lead Program Globally
BELLEVUE, Wash., July 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Concur, the world's leading travel and expense company, today launched the Concur Solution Provider program to enable partners to expand cloud-based offerings to include travel, expense and invoice management solutions. The Concur Solution Provider program creates a clear path to success for cloud solution providers, next-generation VARs and traditional IT partners to offer more value to small- and medium-sized business (SMB) customers.
SMB represents the fastest growing segment within Concur. By introducing the Concur Solution Provider program, the company can strategically continue this expansion via solution providers.
"Travel and expense is the second-largest area of controllable business spend – a challenge especially significant to SMBs. With a partner-focused initiative like the Concur Solution Provider program, we can help partners expand the value they provide SMBs while driving business growth and profitability," said Christal Bemont, SVP and GM of SMB and National Accounts, Concur.
The Concur Solution Provider program launched today in the U.S. and Canada, with the U.K. and Australia soon to follow. Sachin Vora, who recently joined Concur as Senior Director of Global Business Development, will lead the program. Vora is a channel veteran who spent the last 10 years building SMB and channel partner programs at Microsoft.
"Insight finds solutions and establishes partnerships to provide critical business value to our clients," said Bob Kane, SVP, Product Marketing at Insight Enterprises. "Concur's Solution Provider program lets us help our clients streamline cumbersome processes and create value in travel and expense – two areas that typically tax their limited resources."
Concur Travel, Expense and Invoice are the industry's leading cloud solutions to help businesses manage spend and gain insights that drive savings. Concur has more than 40 million users globally, and in 2015, the company processed transactions worth more than $70 billion in travel and expense spend.
"By the end of 2015, 71 percent of U.S. small businesses deployed cloud solutions, compared with only 21 percent in 2013," said Chris Chute, Research Vice President, Global SMB Cloud and Mobility Practice, IDC. "This acceleration rests with small business managers keen to discover new cloud services that can enable stronger productivity."
Concur, an SAP company, recently announced plans to integrate with Office 365. This will allow businesses to simplify travel booking and expense reporting. For example, users will be able to submit expenses from Outlook and book travel based on Outlook calendar meetings.
"As evidenced by Concur's integration with Office 365, the partnership between SAP and Microsoft continues to grow. This move by Concur to redouble efforts on the solution provider channel and Microsoft CSP's is a great opportunity for partners to drive digital and cloud transformation into their SMB customer base and deliver real value by aligning cloud services," said Arnie Mondloch, Senior Director of SAP and Microsoft Alliance at Microsoft.
