Concierge Auctions to Sell an Over 200-Acre Luxury Farm and Development Opportunity Near Knoxville, Tennessee at June 23 Auction
Farm at Tralee to sell to the highest bidder(s) without reserve, subject to bank credit bid
STRAWBERRY PLAINS, Tenn., June 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Farm at Tralee, a premier luxury development containing more than 200 acres rolling amongst the Tennessee Hills with two homes, 33+ home sites and equestrian facilities will sell at a live auction on June 23, Concierge Auctions has announced. The properties will be sold without reserve, to the highest bidder(s) subject to bank credit bid. The sale is being conducted in cooperation with listing broker Debbie Elliott-Sexton of Alliance Sotheby's International Realty and follows the recent sale by Concierge Auctions and Elliott-Sexton of Villa Collina, a 36,000-square-foot private residence on the Tennessee River.
The Farm at Tralee is a private, gated community nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. With more than 200 acres of rolling hills and majestic mountain views, the farm contains two new-construction homes, more than 33 home sites, a stocked pond, an entertaining pavilion and equestrian facilities including a modern barn with outdoor riding area and four and a half miles of walking and riding trails.
"The Farm at Tralee is a peaceful, scenic site and unique in so many ways. The new owners will have many options in how to convert the property to their liking," Elliott-Sexton stated. "This auction comes on the coattails of our recent closing of the Villa Collina estate in Knoxville, which was sold in cooperation with Concierge Auctions prior to the set auction date. We're excited to continue our successful partnership and to finding the ideal buyer for Tralee."
"The auction process is ideal for Tralee because there are so many different ways it could sell. Our task is to achieve the maximum value by offering it in different bidding segments and determining the highest collective bids," stated Laura Brady, Vice President of Marketing for Concierge Auctions. "The individual homes could be purchased by different bidders, or one bidder could purchase the entire property and own an enviable tract of more than 200 contiguous acres."
Strawberry Plains, located on the bank of the Holston River only 20 minutes east of Knoxville, Tennessee, is named for the wild strawberries that grew there in abundance when settlers from North Carolina first arrived in the area. It's an unincorporated community straddling the boundary between Jefferson, Sevier and Knox counties.
The auction of the Farm at Tralee will be held on June 23. A 2% commission is offered to the buyer's representing broker. Phone and Internet bidding is available. See Auction Terms and Conditions for full details. The property is open for preview daily from 1 to 4pm and by appointment. For more information visit www.TraleeAuction.com or call 877-217-2001.
