Concierge Auctions Sells Aspen, Colorado Mountain Estate Prior To Auction Date

ASPEN, Colo., July 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A handcrafted residence on the Roaring Fork River in downtown Aspen has been sold by New York-based luxury auction firm Concierge Auctions in cooperation with Steven Shane of Shane Aspen Real Estate. As interest flooded in from around the world, the buyer made an acceptable offer, and the property went under contract prior to the scheduled bidding date. The sale, which closed this week for $11 million, is Concierge's third in the Aspen area in six months and its second over $10 million. Lorrie Winnerman of Lorrie B. Aspen represented the buyer.

The seller, Bill Coleman, is no stranger to smart business decisions. He began his professional career in the U.S. Air Force as chief of satellite operations in the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force and has since served as Founder and CEO of various software companies including BEA Systems, which was acquired by Oracle.
