BALTIMORE, April 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Concerted Care Group (CCG), in cooperation with CARF International, announced that it has received accreditation for a period of three years for its Health Home, Opioid Treatment and Mental Health programs. CCG, which opened its first integrated medical center in February 2015, is among few organizations to receive such accreditation within its first year of patient treatment and one of the first providers in Maryland to have complied with CARF standards.
The Three-Year CARF Accreditation is the highest level that can be awarded. CCG earned the accreditation by putting itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrating to an interdisciplinary team of behavioral health practitioners that it is committed to offering programs and services that show measurable benefits and outcomes.
"The owners and leadership of [CCG] have extensive managerial, leadership, and business expertise," said the CARF surveyors' report. "They are committed to providing high-quality care to improve the lives of patients…in a warm and supportive environment."
CCG plans to open two additional integrated medical centers in the Baltimore metropolitan area and will expand to other areas in the Mid-Atlantic in 2016-2017. CCG is financed by private equity through its investment arm Concerted Care Group Investors (CCGI) and with senior debt provided by EB-5 Worldwide, which provides financing through the Oriental Dolphins Investments Regional Center.
CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served.
