Concerned Veterans for America to Host Press Conference on Ohio Military Voting Challenges

CLEVELAND, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On Wednesday, October 10th, Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) joins U.S. Navy veteran and Ohio State Representative Mike Dovilla, R-Berea, in front of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to bring public attention to the DoD's mishandling of military voting.
According to the nonpartisan Military Voter Protection Project, absentee ballot requests by service members registered to vote in Ohio have declined by 70 percent compared to 2008. CVA has joined in the cause of raising awareness of and proposing solutions to the disenfranchisement of military voters.
